Phoebe manages beekeeper relations at Dalan, working closely with beekeepers across North America to help integrate Dalan's vaccine into their operations. Before joining Dalan, Phoebe co-founded Optera, where she developed UBeeO, a pheromone-based hygienic test for honey bees, and worked at Nectar Technologies as a sales representative for their hive tracking software. Phoebe holds a MS in Biology from UNC Greensboro, where her research focused on honey bee hygienic behavior. Outside of work, Phoebe manages her own 30-hive apiary, enjoys weightlifting, attending metal shows, and playing violin and piano.
