Sarah Stern co-owns and manages Concord Farms in Sullivan, WI, along  with her husband, Ryan. Sarah started beekeeping when she met Ryan 13 years ago, and eventually left her job as a registered nurse to pursue a career as a beekeeper herself. Together, they manage 1000+ colonies; sell nucs; raise queens; produce, package, and market their honey; and work to effectively overwinter colonies in a northern climate. Sarah has experience with migratory beekeeping, previously sending bees to Arkansas to overwinter and has sent bees to California for almond pollination. 

In addition to beekeeping, Sarah loves being a mother to their two children ages 9 and 7, managing a vacation rental property, and horseback riding.
